Welcome to the Brighton Art Society - Melbourne, Australia

You'll find us on Level 2 of the historic, old Brighton Town Hall (now Bayside’s Arts & Cultural Centre), surrounded by a rose garden display in Wilson Street, Brighton VIC.

The Society was formed in 1978 by a small group of local artists with three main objectives:

• To nurture an interest in art in the Brighton community
• To provide facilities for local artists to meet and work together
• To establish classes and teachers for people to learn drawing and painting techniques.
