The Society was formed in 1978 by a small group of local artists with three main objectives:

• To nurture an interest in art in the Brighton community

• To provide facilities for local artists to meet and work together

• To provide education and information on the arts with a focus for people to learn drawing and painting techniques

 

Brighton Art Society continues this founding purpose, and its activities are coordinated by dedicated committee members on a volunteer basis.

 

We welcome new and returning members and invite members to participate in activities for all skill levels  including:

• Tutored Classes

• Untutored Groups, and the

• Annual End-of-Year Exhibition

Members and Non Members are welcome to attend:

• Workshops

• Demonstrations
