Classes are Tutored by experienced artists and run Monday to Friday, varying between 2 to 2.5 hours.
Classes are open to all current year members of the Brighton Art Society.
Terms are 9 weeks in duration.
Please note that bookings are required two weeks prior class commencement.
A sufficient number of enrollments are required for the class to proceed. Mid term starts are possible if vacancies allow however full term fees apply.
Please note, classes in general have a maximum of 12 students.
Class fees are only refundable if classes are cancelled due to insufficient numbers.
Untutored Model Sessions
Current BAS Membership is required to access our Untutored Model Sessions.

Untutored Sessions are run by a convenor who is a BAS Member.
New members are welcome to join at any stage throughout the year.
All levels of artistic ability are welcome.
In general, the focus of these Untutored Groups, is in painting and drawing from life models.
Some of the sessions work from the nude figure and others from clothed portrait sitters.
Attendance is on a casual basis, so you pay only when you attend. The fee is to cover the cost of the model
One important difference from our regular Tutored Classes, is that provided one is a financial BAS
member for the current year, attendance at the sessions is on a casual basis.
It’s unnecessary to commit to a full term’s attendance, but rather, artists can come along as and when they wish, only paying the attendance fee on those occasions.
Each group has a convenor, who is responsible for organising the model and collecting the attendance fee.
If you are new to a particular group, it is always wise to contact the relevant convenor first, to ensure that places are available. In general however, this should not be a problem.
